Johnson Anderson Named Franklin Madison Direct’s 2024 David Forster Vendor of the Year

Johnson Anderson has been named Franklin Madison Direct’s ninth-annual David Forster Vendor of the Year, honoring the production partner’s display of concerted effort, integrity, proactivity, creativity, and unselfishness. The award was presented to Johnson Anderson representatives during a luncheon ceremony on April 10th. This is the first time Johnson Anderson has received this recognition from FM Direct.

The award is named for David Forster, who worked with his mother, Sandy, at Little Pepper Promotions – Franklin Madison Direct’s branded clothing and gifts supplier. In June 2016, David passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27 while training for a marathon. Doctors later discovered that David had myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart that was likely caused by an unknown virus. In David’s honor, FM Direct recognizes an outstanding vendor partner each year who demonstrates David’s most admirable qualities.

“Johnson Anderson has consistently gone above and beyond to support our success,” said Paula Phipps, FM Direct’s Director of Production. “Their commitment to quality, proactive problem-solving, and affordable pricing has made them an invaluable partner. Whether adapting to last-minute client changes or offering innovative solutions, their team is always a step ahead. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and industry expertise set them apart—and we’re truly honored to recognize them as our Vendor of the Year.”

“We are incredibly honored to receive this meaningful recognition, especially knowing the strength and caliber of your vendor network,” said Pete Anderson, Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer. “It’s truly rewarding to be named Vendor of the Year. We’re grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us and proud to be a partner in your success.”

As part of the annual award, FM Direct donates in David Forster’s name to a charity of the Forster family’s choosing. Johnson Anderson has generously matched the donation. This year, the gift will go to the Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship’s scholarship fund at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.
